Concrete Forms

The wise man built his house upon a rock. The house is going to have a pier and beam foundation. Rather than constructing the piers with cylindrical tubes for concrete forms we decided to go with oversized box forms that are 2’x2’. After the house is constructed, we will use mortar to attach field stone to the sections of the piers that are above ground. To get below the frost line the forms will be 5’ deep in the ground and stick up 2’ above the ground.
