Planted

We have officially been planted on the Good Land. The trailer has been our home for the past 10 days and we now know that it is possible to stay warm in temperatures as low as -21. The recent cold temperatures have kept us from progress on framing the house but the forecast looks promising.

We strapped the outhouse to a hay bale so it doesn’t blow away. Also made a makeshift shelter for the generator with a ladder and plywood scraps to keep the snow off it. We moved the generator behind the hay bale to block the sound getting to the trailer. Who knew how useful a hay bale is.
