Raising Walls

It is nice to see the building going vertical. I was excited but also very nervous about raising the walls. It is very windy where we are and the neighbours were scaring us with stories of houses blowing down during construction. I was very grateful when a couple days before we raised the walls I ran into my cousin who is experienced with this and he told me exactly how to do it.

We had some family in the area and rounded up the troops for some heavy lifting. It went smoothly with so much help and we got three sections in place and braced.
